    Our policies have been set up to afford all our customers prompt merchandise availability and excellent service at the best possible price.
    To avoid any inconvenience upon pick up or delivery please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the following information that may be applicable to you.
    The adherence to these policies allows Taft Furniture to continue to offer the very best furniture values in NYS.
    Taft Furniture strives to provide you accurate content, including product information, policies, pricing, and visual displays. Policies, pricing, and item availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse to honor any incorrect Internet prices as we cannot account for the occasional human error.
    We appreciate your business and everyone at Taft works together to make your Furniture shopping experience as convenient and enjoyable as possible.

  • TERMS OF WARRANTY

  • TAFT Furniture Warehouse and Showroom, Ltd. provides a one-year limited warranty for goods sold under this contract unless such goods were sold "As is" or placed into commercial use by the buyer.
    This warranty is for the benefit of the original purchaser only and provides that goods sold will be free from manufacturers defects within the standards and specifications set forth by the manufacturer.
    This warranty does not apply to the wear, colorfastness, cleanability of item, or damage caused by moisture, and is voided in the case where goods have been misused abused,tampered with, or relocated from the original address or delivery address.
    Normal wear and tear of any items and or pilling of upholstery fabric is not warranted hereunder.
    Warranty does not cover transportation costs on repaired or exchanged merchandise. This is the customer's responsibility. Failure to make a claim shall constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the goods. *Use of any items in a nonprivate, residential or commercial establishment voids this warranty.

  • MATTRESS MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY

  • In order for this limited warranty to be valid, customer must be original purchaser and must provide a copy o f the original store receipt.
    In the event that a defect may occur, TAFT Furniture will inspect under manufacturer's guidelines and submit the claim to the manufacturer.
    Should the manufacturer deem the bedding to be defective, repair or replacement must be authorized by the manufacturer.
    If identical materials are not availbale at the time of product service,
    Taft reserves the right to subsitute material of equal value.
    Customer is responsible for transportation costs for the product to and from the store.
    These costs are equal to our current delivery charges.
    If customer returns product themselves, customer is resposibile for protecting product in transit.
    We reserve the right to refuse service and void the warranty when upon receipt from customer the bedding is found to be in an unsanitary condition or when product shows signs of customer abuse.
    Please refer to manufacturer's warranty attached to bedding for further information

  • REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT

  • TAFT shall have the right at its option to repair or replace the goods within a reasonable amount of time after they are notified of the defect.
    Repairs will be made at the customer's home, in TAFT's facility or in manufacturer's facility.
    If any defect is not repaired at the first attempted service, the buyer agrees to allow TAFT Furniture Warehouse and Showroom, Ltd. additional attempts to correct the defects as may be fair and reasonable. In the unlikely circumstance a repair cannot be made, and a replacement is required, buyer shall allow TAFT reasonable time to make the replacement including reasonable time to order new merchandise from the manufacturer.
    Repair or replacement is the sole discretion of TAFT. If replacement is determined, we will deliver to you, if the original merchandise was delivered. Delivery fees for repair or exchange will be the responsibility of the customer. If the original merchandise was picked up, you must pick up the replacement merchandise upon returning the defective merchandise to us.

  • CONDITIONS OF SALE

  • No spoken or other representation of TAFT Furniture Warehouse and Showroom, Ltd.
    or its agents or employees shall be binding on TAFT Furniture Warehouse and Showroom, Ltd.
    and no conditions or additional terms of this agreement shall be binding on TAFT Furniture Warehouse and Showroom, Ltd.
    TAFT reserves the right to accept or refuse the terms of this agreement.

  • MERCHANDISE HOLD POLICY

  • Pick up or delivery of in stock current or discontinued items must be made within 21 days of date on order.
    Items on order must be picked up or delivered within 14 days of Taft receiving merchandise. Accessory items and rugs must be picked up within 7 days.
    Delivery is not available for accessory items. Clearance/closeout items must be picked up with in 48 hours or delivered on the 1st available delivery.

  • PICK UP INFORMATION

  • Our goal is to process your pick up as quickly as possible.
    Pick up times range from 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on variables such as transfer
    times between warehouses or store traffic.
    We also offer the option of scheduling your pick up by calling at least 2 hours ahead.
    All scheduled orders must be paid in full prior to scheduling pick up.

  • DELIVERY INFORMATION

  • We offer "all day" delivery service. Specfic delivery times cannot be given.
    You will be notified prior to delivery as to an estimated time frame, as explained in the Delivery Checklist.
    Certain deliveries require a damage waiver

  • DELIVERY NOTIFICAION

  • It is important to remember that an Estimated Delivery Date is just that and unless you have a Confirmed Delivery Date there will be no delivery.
    Due to potential unforeseen circumstances, I.E. traffic, weather, etc., we can NOT promise delivery times.
    Our drivers will call the morning of delivery to give you an approximate 3 hour time frame of when you can expect your furniture to arrive.

    Please, do not schedule a delivery if you are not certain you or someone else authorized to receive your merchandise will be available on the scheduled date.

    IMPORTANT:
    Canceling your delivery within 2 business days of its scheduled delivery date, could result in added delivery charges and restocking fees.
    Our drivers and helpers are experienced and will use extreme care not to cause any damage.
    They will make the determination if your furniture can be safely placed in your home.
    In cases where we are delivering large heavy items through narrow doors and halls, you may be asked to sign a waiver acknowledging that
    Taft Furniture Warehouse & Showroom, Ltd. is released from any responsibility for any damage caused during delivery of all merchandise.
    Additionally, we can not guarantee that all items will fit in all homes, therefore, delivery charges will not be refunded under these circumstances.
    NOTE:
    Our drivers are not allowed to remove or dispose of old furniture or make decisions that are typically managed through our customer service department, please contact our customer service department with any questions you may have in regards to our delivery policies.

  • SPECIAL ORDERS

  • *REQUIRE 30% NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
    Special order merchandise , not normally stocked at TAFT, ordered per the customer's specifications is considered custom made or custom finished. These orders can not be cancelled for any reason, are NOT RETURNABLE, and require a 30% nonrefundable down payment. In the event the items are non deliverable, customer agrees to forfeit the 30% deposit as a restocking fee and all delivery fees. Special order merchandise has a manufacturer's estimated date to be received. TAFT will not be responsible for any manufacturing delays.

  • MERCHANDISE HOLD POLICY

    To better serve you, call the showroom at least 2 hours ahead so we can process your order.
    All scheduled orders must be paid in full prior to scheduling pick up.
    Taft is not responsible for damage to merchandise or vehicle caused during load out or in transit.
    Our staff is available to assist in loading only.
    Securing of merchandise to or in customer's vehicle is responsibility of the customer.

  • OUT OF STOCK MERCHANDISE

  • If your merchandise is out of stock, we will give you an estimated date of arrival,
    but we CANNOT GUARANTEE TIMES due to circumstances beyond our control
    such as manufacturer's and transportation delays.
    We will make every attempt to keep you informed however,
    if the estimated time has elapsed feel free to check on the order status at any time.

  • RETURN POLICIES

  • RETURN POLICIES Taft reserves the right to limit or deny returns/exchanges due to customer abuse or non saleable condition.
    When a return is authorized by management then a 20% restocking fee will apply for:
    Items that are picked up at our warehouse and returned WITHOUT original factory cartons
    Items that were delivered then returned and canceled.
    If a customer changes an order or item after a delivery has been made,
    customer agrees to forfeit any delivery charges and agrees to pay an additional delivery fee for any items being picked up by Taft.
    Merchandise items not returnable include bedding,
    bedding related products,
    "As-Is", Clearance,
    special orders,
    Ready to assemble items that have been assembled by customer,
    and those used in non-private residential or commercial establishments.
    Accessories and rugs:48 hours after purchse we will refund the purchase price for accessories and rugs.
    All items must be in "As new" condition in original factory coartons.

  • REFUND POLICY

  • Merchandise that is approved as a return and cancelled on the date of sale, customer will be refunded that day.
    Otherwise the refund will be made as follows:
    ( A ) If payment is made by cash, a refund check will be issued within 7 banking days.
    ( B ) If payment is made by check, a refund check will be issued within 14 banking days.
    ( C ) If payment is made by credit card, credit to customer's account will occur within 7 banking days.

    Delivery charges are nonrefundable
