Front Counter Associate-PT-Albany Store

Taft Furniture is currently recruiting for PART TIME Front Counter Associates in our Colonie store.  We are seeking customer oriented individuals who have prior retail experience to assist customers with their purchase by processing sales orders, scheduling merchandise for delivery or to be picked up, coordinating financing of merchandising and answering phones. 

Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, basic computer experience and a professional appearance and demeanor.  This is a part time position which involves days, evenings, weekends and some holidays.  Flexibility in scheduling is required.

Design/Sales Associate-PT-Albany Store

Taft Furniture is currently recruiting for PART TIME Sales/Design Associates in our Colonie and Saratoga Springs, NY store.  This position pays $12-$14/hour PLUS incentive bonuses.  Scheduling is flexible with approximately 25 hours per week.  Hours include some nights, weekends and holidays. Retail sales and customer service experience is preferred but not required.  Product knowledge and design training will be provided.  This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in the exciting  world of home furniture fashions and design!

Warehouse Material Handler-PT-Albany/Saratoga Store

Taft Furniture is currently recruiting for a PART TIME Warehouse Material Handler.  Experience in a warehouse setting, receiving and shipping merchandise, pulling orders, assisting customers with pick-ups, inspecting products and some furniture assembly experience preferred.  This position requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.  Forklift experience preferred.  You must be able to work a flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
